Dr. Handy utilizes the LCT 1000 CLASS IV Laser in his Irvine office. This new technology dramatically changes the way we treat injuries and chronic pain. Unlike the Cold Laser (Low Level Laser) deep tissue laser has the ability to penetrate several inches into the target tissue to deliver the photonic energy, to repair tissue faster.
Dr Handy also uses Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) as an adjunct therapy for certain conditions. A mild electrical current is applied, creating contractions to help fatigue the muscle and allow it to relax, settling spasms. The contraction also causes the body to release endorphins (the body’s natural pain killers), to help reduce pain sensation in the area. Electrical muscle stimulation gives the patient a tingling sensation, which most clients find very soothing.
Dr. Handy is awesome! He was able to fix my vertigo in one session. He's gentle and cares well for his patients. 5***** Michelle M.
